Introducing Release 2603! This update brings AML Shield, flexible payment approval levels, and manual callback resending. We've also improved report navigation and made the Portfolio interface more user-friendly. Read on for the details!

AML Shield

AML Shield is an additional layer of operational risk control built directly into the transaction processing workflow in BitHide. It helps you make informed decisions when dealing with sanctioned addresses.

The feature operates through regular updates of AML provider databases and official sanctions lists, including FATF, UN, and MiCA. BitHide automatically compares transaction addresses against the latest available lists.

If a match is detected, you will receive a notification indicating that integrated BitHide services, such as Gas Stations and Energy Stations, cannot be used for that transaction. You can still proceed with the transaction without using these services if you decide it is appropriate.

AML Shield helps reduce compliance risks by allowing you to make decisions based on transparent data rather than discovering issues after the fact.

Payment Approval Levels

This tool enables you to build a flexible payout control system within your company. You decide which payments are processed automatically and which require approval from designated employees based on the transaction amount.

For example, small payouts can be processed without additional approval, medium-sized payments can require approval from an accountant or finance manager, and large transfers can be routed to management for confirmation.

Flexible settings allow you to adapt the approval process to your company's structure:

  • Multiple employees can be assigned to the same approval level, ensuring that payouts are not delayed if one responsible person is unavailable.
  • A single employee can oversee payouts across multiple merchants, enabling centralized financial management for the company.

Once approved, a payment is automatically sent to processing. This allows you to maintain a high level of control without slowing down financial operations.

Manual Callback Resending for Any Payment Type

When working with Merchants and using the BitHide payment widget or API integration, transaction information may occasionally fail to reach the Merchant's system. This can happen due to external network issues, temporary API unavailability, or connection problems between systems, even when the transaction itself has already been successfully confirmed on the blockchain.

You can now manually resend a callback for any transaction, including successful ones, directly from the interface. This restores data synchronization without involving technical support and allows you to resolve payment notification delivery issues in just a few clicks.

Improved Navigation Between Payments and Reports

We continue to improve BitHide based on customer feedback. Following numerous requests from companies, we have updated the navigation logic from the payment modal window to reports.

Now, you are automatically directed to the appropriate report section depending on the payment type: direct transactions open in Transaction in Progress, while Proxy Payments open in Proxy Payments. This eliminates the need to manually search for the relevant information and makes payment status tracking more convenient and accurate.

Improved Visibility of the "More" Button

We have updated the appearance of the "More" button in Portfolio, which opens the context menu containing actions such as Send, View Addresses, and others.

Previously, the element was displayed as a three-dot icon and could be difficult to notice because of its small size in the interface. This made interaction with the menu less intuitive. The button is now larger and more visible, making Portfolio easier to use.

Thank you for choosing BitHide.

See you in the next updates!
